These thoughts and theories are your brain’s way of ‘protecting’ you from any risk of failure. They also block you from pursuing your goals and experiencing any real growth.

The first step to overcoming a limiting belief is to identify it.
Take the time to brainstorm and write down what you believe is holding you back. Simply writing these out will help alleviate the stressor and better guide you to taking more positive steps.
Once identified, the next step is to push yourself to ask the tough questions.
What if I am wrong about this? What if I can do this? Why not me?
Questioning these beliefs and replacing them using positive affirmations, sentences that you repeat to yourself to build confidence and positively rewire your brain, is the most effective strategy to overcome them.
I have the determination to push through the learning curve and eventually crush my pull-ups.
Positive affirmations are your mantras. They are uplifting assurances that help you to defy and overcome self-sabotaging and negative thoughts.
